Slop Studio presents

The Crazy Eights roguelike.
You and the dealer play from the same deck. Every card you buy can turn up in their hand.
November 10, 2026 · $14.99 · Windows
You share a deck with the dealer
You and the dealer shed onto the same pile and draw from the same deck. Any card you buy can show up in either hand. Thinning your deck thins it for both of you. Enhanced cards only score when you play them yourself — which makes every purchase a bet on who draws it first.
Chain cards. Bank chips.
01
Match suit or rank
Play any card that matches the pile — or play an 8 and declare a new suit.
02
Chain everything you hold
Chain as many playable cards as you can. Each one scores, and your Combo climbs with every link.
03
Draw and lose the chain
Stop to draw and the Combo resets — but every card you pull raises your base chips for the rest of the round.

Questions
What is Wild Crazy 8s?
Wild Crazy 8s is a roguelike deckbuilder built on Crazy Eights, developed by Slop Studio for PC. Players shed cards by matching suit or rank, chain plays for a combo multiplier, and spend winnings between rounds on House Rules that multiply each other. It releases on Steam on November 10, 2026 for $14.99.
How is Wild Crazy 8s different from Balatro?
Wild Crazy 8s shares a deck between the player and the dealer, which Balatro does not do. Both are roguelike deckbuilders where persistent scoring rules multiply each other, but in Wild Crazy 8s every card bought can be drawn by the dealer instead, and thinning the deck thins it for both sides. The base game is Crazy Eights — matching suit or rank and declaring suits with wild 8s — rather than poker hands.
When does Wild Crazy 8s release?
Wild Crazy 8s releases on Steam on November 10, 2026. The Steam store page is live now and accepting wishlists.
How much does Wild Crazy 8s cost?
Wild Crazy 8s costs $14.99 USD, with a 10% discount during the launch window. It is a one-time purchase with no in-app purchases, no loot boxes, and no real-money wagering.
Is there a Wild Crazy 8s demo?
A free demo of Wild Crazy 8s is planned for Steam Next Fest in October 2026. The demo is not yet available on Steam; wishlisting the game on Steam is the way to be notified when it goes live.
What platforms does Wild Crazy 8s support?
Wild Crazy 8s runs on Windows PC via Steam and supports 13 languages. It offers full controller support, Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud saves, and Steam Leaderboards. Mac and Linux are not supported.
Is Wild Crazy 8s a gambling game?
No. Wild Crazy 8s uses a casino theme but contains no real-money wagering, no loot boxes, and no paid randomness. It is a single-player score-attack card game bought once for a fixed price.
How much content does Wild Crazy 8s have?
Wild Crazy 8s contains 158 House Rules, 36 boss tables, 50 perks, 24 starting decks, 9 difficulty tiers, and 48 trophies, plus an endless mode unlocked after beating the final floor and seeded runs that can be shared and replayed exactly.
